Review:

Tim: I can't say I'm a big fan of these short films done as marketing for Alien: Covenant. In principle, I love the idea of short films accompanying a feature film, but they have to be worth the investment. The idea was a good one, but the execution was lacking here. Plus, I got confused about how many of these there were. I watched three and then just gave up. This one is slightly relevant, as it's meant to be the bridge between Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. That's a really good idea, because a link between these two films was needed. Unfortunately, there's not much that you can do in three minutes.

In this short film, we do see what happens to Elizabeth Shaw and David after the events of Prometheus. As they travel into space, Shaw repairs David and then he puts her in cryogenic sleep for the voyage. We also see what happens when he arrives at the Engineer home world. That's pretty cool, but we don't get quite enough.

I suppose this film was helpful in that it does link these two films, but it still felt unsatisfying. It felt like either this should have been part of the main movie, or it should have been slightly longer. Still, I guess it's something and it does fill in a gap, so I give the short film credit for that.
