Review:
Tim: The Wizard of Oz is arguably the greatest children's movie of all time. The film is such a classic that not seeing this movie several times is simply a crime.
Everything about this movie is magnificent. Every character has something for Dorothy to learn. Kids can gain a lot from seeing this film. They will also be quite entertained.
This is one of those rare movies that can be watched over and over again and it gets better with each viewing. Few films can honestly claim that to be true. The sets are all outstanding- it is an amazing film to behold. The songs are all superb- especially Judy Garland's absolutely perfect delivery of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and my personal favorite, the Scarecrow's "If I Only Had a Brain".
The Wizard of Oz is one of the all time greatest classics. The movie should be seen over and over again. Garland is particularly perfect in the role she was born to play.
