Summary: The first starring role of Sandra Bullock after her blockbuster success in Speed. Lucy Moderatz(Sandra Bullock), a happy-go-lucky Chicago subway tollbooth worker is madly in love with Peter Callaghan(Peter Gallagher), the man of her dreams. The only problem is, they have never met and the only words she has ever spoken to him are, "sixty-five cents is your change, sir." Lucy saves his life after he has been mugged and fallen into a coma. At the hospital, Peter's family mistake her for his fiancee. Lucy must then continue the charade due to events out of her control. However, as she becomes closer to Peter's family, Lucy begins to fall in love with Peter's brother, Jack(Bill Pullman) and must choose between the man of her dreams and the man she loves.

Review:

Tim: All in all a fairly decent movie. Sandra Bullock excites the screen throughout and has definite chemistry with Bill Pullman. Her spark saves the occasional slow moments of this movie and help along the droopy parts.

The movie is decent and all, but is quite slow. I don't recommend watching this movie if you're planning on pulling an all nighter.

I especially liked the title of the film. It's very accurate because 75% of the movie takes place while YOU are sleeping. A good romantic storyline saves portions of the film and barely squeezes it onto my good list.

Tim: I would say that if you enjoy romantic sappy films, this one is for you. Some decent acting throughout and several humorous moments save this film from a much worse fate. Not a bad film to rent, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing your own copy.
