Review:

Tim: Wow, this movie was much more thrilling and intense than I imagined. This is true for a number of reasons. First, the writing is excellent and the directing is top notch. Add in a capable and loveable victim in Audrey Hepburn, and you will be on the very edge of your seat. This is the film's strongpoint. The audience loves Hepburn, so putting her in any danger whatsoever is almost an unthinkable act. That is why this film is so great.

Hepburn is fantastic. She might not be the most believable blind lady, but she is quite good. She convinces us that she is not only handicapped, but she is not dependent and reliable on others. The ways in which she stands up for herself are incredible.

The supporting cast is good. Alan Arkin is fairly creepy and threatening as the bad guy. Richard Crenna works really well in the movie and is fairly enjoyable.

It is so interesting to watch as the thieves enact a brilliant plot to trick the blind lady. These scenes are absolutely fascinating to watch. It is so clever and so dastardly. Hepburn's actions and reactions to this are quite good.

Wait Until Dark is a thrilling, nerveracking film that is also quite entertaining. Hepburn is excellent as always as is enjoyable to watch.
