Review:

Tim: This movie is loaded with potential, but comes up short. The film starts out great, but progressively gets worse as the movie trudges on. The major downside in this film is the unbelievable factor. Rather than getting into the story line or the characters, I spent much of the time asking myself, "What the hell is going on in this movie?" The makers of this film didn't bother to think about, well, anything. Giant half human- half robot creatures from outer space? That idea spews special effects, but not much else.

The plus side to this movie are a few bright acting scenes from Curtis and Sutherland, but most of the time, the dialogue is sloppily thrown together, and doesn't add much to the picture. Save for a few comic lines, it's probably better to watch this movie with the sound turned all the way down.

Also, there are a few amazing camera shots, but no one goes to see a movie for the camera shots, so what does that tell you?

All in all, I cannot recommend Virus to anyone, unless you are one of those people who enjoy brainless movies with too little action, too little intelligent dialogue, and too little fear to scare you. If you are one of those people, than this movie is definitely for you.
