Review:

Tim: Two Weeks Notice is a very complete and funny romantic comedy. It is charming, enjoyable, and one of the best in this genre in recent memory.

This is quite possibly Hugh Grant's most charming and funny role to date (with only perhaps Notting Hill aside). His comedic timing is impeccable and he squeezes out every drop of comedy from the amazing writing for this film. He has so many incredibly one-liners that you will get caught up in his performance and this movie and find yourself laughing out loud.

Sandra Bullock is decent, but she plays a similar type of character to the one she played in Miss Congeniality. This isn't too much of a surprise, since director/writer Marc Lawrence also made that film. Bullock is amazing, however, when paired next to Grant. Their chemistry is excellent and they play off each other better than any romantic comedy pair in the last 5 years. Putting these two stars together was a brilliant move because they light up the screen and we love every second they are together.

If the cast and the film itself isn't a good enough reason to see this film, then I offer you this- the Counting Crows' "Big Yellow Taxi" is featured in the film. Perhaps as a huge Counting Crows fan, this is more exciting to me than you, but they are the greatest band alive (in my opinion) and I love that this song plays a role in this film. You can't beat that.

Two Weeks Notice is a fabulous romantic comedy. It has plenty of romance, but that fails in comparison to the more hilarious parts of the film. This is an incredible film and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
