Review:

Tim: This is a pretty small, independent-feeling movie. However, it tries to tell a tale that is very often a scathing look at television producers and the process that TV shows go through just to get on the air. This is a fascinating and frustrating process, and should shed some light on why so much crap is put on television. This is so interesting to watch.

David Duchovney is excellent. He has some truly great lines. My favorite has to be his rant while he is sick. He pours so much energy into this, and it was my favorite moment of the film. Duchovney is excellent as he really conveys his frustration and his shock and disgust at the changes the network chooses to make. Sigourney Weaver is so frustrating to watch because she accurately captures the worst of television executives. It is a good performance. I also loved seeing Ioan Gruffudd in his role. I really like the guy, and he's quite fun to watch here.

The TV Set has some great moments. It is so fun to watch as Duchovney's character struggles to keep his creative dream alive. This process is spectacular to see, and quite memorable. This is just a small movie, but it has heart, and I found myself enjoying it.
