Review:
Tim: This probably shouldn't have been a very good movie. It is silly- very, very silly. Luckily, it doesn't take itself too seriously, and actually has fun with the plot. This translates to fun for the audience.
The vast majority of the credit for this film's success has to go to Michael J. Fox. There isn't another actor in Hollywood who could have been more effective in the role. Fox is so much fun to watch, and he brings his trademark charm and wit to the role. We have so much fun watching him as he transforms into a werewolf and then must deal with the repercussions of that.
The film's best scenes are when Fox transforms into a wolf and plays on the basketball team. This is the most memorable part of the movie, and is very entertaining. The rest of the film isn't particularly great, but the positives outweigh the film's flaws.
