Review:
Tim: This is an enjoyable war movie featuring James Stewart as a pilot flying some risky missions. The story is decent enough, and will keep the audience entertained. If you are a fan of Stewart, then I'd definitely recommend this movie. If you are a neophyte to Stewart's work, I'd recommend starting elsewhere. Stewart is fun to watch as a combat pilot, and gives his usual impressive performance.
While not one of his best, this is still an excellent collaboration between Stewart and director Anthony Mann, whom have worked together numerous times in the past.
There is enough drama, action, and excitment for audiences of all levels to enjoy this classic. There are some very intense, nailbiting moments. The film isn't perfect, but it gets the job done.
