Review:

Tim: I have never been a hgue fan of The Simpsons. I've probably seen less than 20 episodes in my entire life. I occasionally laughed when I watched it, but mostly, I felt indifferent. Even still, I felt somewhat excited about this movie. Despite my feelings for the TV show, The Simpsons have been around for many, many years, and it is fitting that they finally get a movie for themselves.

That being said, I actually did enjoy the movie. The film puts all of the Simpsons and the other residents of Springfield in a new light, and it really works on the big screen. The movie is fun, oftentimes funny, and quite enjoyable. I found myself laughing quite a bit.

One of my favorite parts of the film involves the small role of Tom Hanks. It's no secret that he is my favorite actor. He's hilarious in his small role here, something about him letting the government borrow some of his credibility. I loved it. The rest of the cast is all great. Homer Simpson is so funny, and he is such a great character. I loved seeing him here. I also loved the whole "Spider-Pig" thing, which was surprisingly funny.

The Simpsons Movie will greatly satisfy all the fans of the television show, while still being able to entertain even those who are not fans of the show. I really enjoyed my time with this movie.
