Review:

Tim: I thought Smallfoot was a pretty good animated movie, so I sat down with my son to watch the short film, Super Soozie after watching it. It's a 2 minute, 22 second film that puts the spotlight on Soozie, one of the minor characters from the main movie. It was a cute enough little film.

Before I get into the film itself, I wanted to mention how frustrating it was to find information about this film online. I'm not sure what Warner Animation was doing here, but it's almost like this film doesn't exist. IMDb has no information- I couldn't find out who directed it or who the voiced the characters. That's especially annoying. Wikipedia didn't have anything either. I know, minor concern in the grand scheme of things, but Pixar or Dreamworks Animation would never do that.

The film is decent. I couldn't exactly remember Soozie, even though I watched this film minutes after finishing Smallfoot. It's a decent story about a group of young Yetis who make fun of Soozie for pretending to be a superhero. That all changes when one of them is in danger and it's "Super Soozie" to the rescue. There's not a lot to say about a two minute short film, but it was cute and fairly entertaining.

If you liked Smallfoot, it's worth watching this film, but I wouldn't go out of your way. It's lightweight and certainly not required viewing.
