Review:

Tim: Before I mention anything else, I should say that I saw the Unrated version- which contained a number of deleted scenes from the one in movie theatres. That being said, I had high hopes for this movie. I know it's a dumb teen film, filled with sex, slapstick comedy, and illnatured jokes. But, I really thought it would be something different. The film itself isn't too awful, but it's not as good (or as funny) as I thought it would be.

I was surprised and excited to see the film starred Breckin Meyer. While Meyer has been the butt of many jokes as far as his acting ability (or lack thereof), I've always been a huge fan of his, and love his work. He isn't too bad in this film, but doesn't offer anything spectacular. Seann William Scott is very, very good in this film. When I first saw Scott in American Pie, I was not a very big fan of him. However, the more I see of him, the better I like him. I thought he was great in Evolution, and he is really funny in this film. The rest of the supporting cast isn't bad, with the exception of Tom Green. I was really disappointed with him, as he isn't particularly all that funny, doesn't have a very good role, and besides the scene where he sticks the mouse in his mouth; is quite annoying.

Fans of teen movies will definitley want to check this out, as there are a number of scenes that you'll find new and exciting, as well as hilarious, (the scene at the all-black fraternity is great). However, don't expect too great of a movie, although it can be funny at times, at last its simply a dull, tedious film that will more often annoy you than make you laugh.
