Review:
Tim: This is one of the most heartbreaking, soul-crushing movies I have ever seen. It is an excellent film, but it is just so, so sad. This is one of the most dramatic, emotional films you will ever see.
The cast is excellent. Elijah Wood and Joseph Mazzello are incredible as brothers. Wood is very good, but Mazzello is simply amazing. He gives the most heartbreaking performance I've ever seen. I felt emotionally shaken to the core after watching him. Tom Hanks really makes a huge difference in the film by serving as a narrator through which we see the story unfold.
I can't watch this movie very often because I'm just emotionally drained at the end of the film. It is a terrific movie.
