Review:

Tim: This is another poor movie. Was there some positives in the original idea? Yes, I definitely like the idea of a serial killer crocodile. I'm a huge fan of seemingly indestrucible killer animals (see The Ghost and the Darkness). However, this film is weak, unoriginal, and cliche-ridden. The film is painfully boring, featuring wooden, awful acting, and almost no worthwhile character development. In short, it is worth about as much as week-old crocodile crap.

Dominic Purcell seemed like a fairly decent actor on TV's "Prison Break." Here, is terrible. He makes an awful leading man, and it was painful to watch him. Orlando Jones, no stranger to crappy movies, is actually the most enjoyable part of this film, but he's not exactly stunning, either. He does have by far the greatest line of the film (I won't spoil it, but it is side-splittingly funny). The rest of the cast is utterly forgettable.

Making movies like this is so difficult because the margin for error is so small. Is a giant killer crocodile cool? Only if done right. It is not done very well here, and it just comes off completely ridiculous and absurd. We don't care about anyone or anything that is happening. The movie ends, and we haven't given anything a second thought. This is a silly, awful movie.
