Summary: Very little plot here- basically a spoof of movies like Can't Hardly Wait, Varsity Blues, She's All That, Cruel Intentions, Pretty In Pink, The Breakfast Club, Bring It On, and many more.

Review:

Tim: I am not a very big fan of teen spoof movies. I hated both Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2, so I had serious concerns about seeing this film. On the other hand, I thought this movie looked very funny, and might be worthwhile to see.

Obviously, I gave it a chance, and I'm glad I did. I laughed very loud and quite frequently throughout this movie. Now, the humor is directly completely towards teens, and involves sex and bodily functions jokes, but hell- I still find that stuff funny. Even better, it spoofs nearly every decent teen movie from the 80's until today. If you liked any of the movies I mentioned in the summary (and I've seen most of them), you will die laughing at this film. On the other hand, if you haven't seen very many of the films, you will think this movie is the stupidest thing you've ever seen in your life. It really goes both ways. If you're not familiar with the typical teen movies of the last decade or so, I strongly urge you to see those before renting this one. You'll appreciate it a thousand times more.

I should also mention the spoofing is incredible. You will be amazed at how accurate this film mimics the ones you've grown to love. It follows the previous films closely, yet puts a spin on them that often has very funny results. Especially funny were the spoofs of The Breakfast Club, Varsity Blues, and She's All That. You'll laugh when you see those scenes, trust me.

I don't want to make this film out to be something it's not. At its core, it is a stupid teen flick mimicing other teen flicks, full of sex (one girl is nude the entire movie) and bodily function jokes (the scene with the girl pooping is hilarious). If you don't like that kind of humor, pass this film up. Also, if you hated Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2, then I recommend not giving up on the genre entirely, and giving this film a chance- it might redeem the whole teen/spoof thing for you. Then again, maybe it won't.
