Review:

Tim: This is a rip-roaring, incredible success of a movie. National Treasure is easily one of the greatest treasure hunt movies of all time. Jerry Bruckheimer produces another memorable, action packed ride. This film represents the smartest of the fun, entertaining adventure films. The plot might be implausible, but we're having far too much fun to care.

Nicholas Cage is incredible. He is someone that we can see as a great treasure hunter (or protector, if you will) and also manages to laugh at himself and have a good time. Justin Bartha is hilarious. His comedic timing is perfect and he makes the ideal wise-cracking sidekick. I was very impressed with his performance. Diane Kruger actually does an excellent job. She is believable, credible, and has great chemistry with Cage. She might make a pretty decent career for herself. This film brilliantly uses Sean Bean as a bad guy (he's always so excellent in these roles), and Jon Voight and Harvey Keitel in great supporting roles.

National Treasure is part treasure hunt, part adventure, part American history- this should be a national landmark of good cinema, forget what the critics may say. This film will get your blood pumping. I really love this movie.
