Summary: After a security officer (Martin Lawrence) has a run in with a police officer (Steve Zahn), the officer is sent to prisoner for police brutality, although he is innocent. Upon his release, he takes a job as a security officer, working with the man who is responsible for sending him to jail in the first place. The two obviously hate each other, yet team up to stop a gang of robbers.

Review:

Tim: This film appealed to me from the very beginning, partially because it was advertised as a buddy movie without the buddies. Martin Lawrence has made many, many buddy movies (Bad Boys, Nothing to Lose), but I'd have to say this is one of his best. He is probably the most 50-50 actor I have ever seen. You never know if he will make a good movie or not (anyone see Big Momma's House? Fortunately, this is a good one.

In the movies I've already mentioned, he's teamed with some good actors, like Will Smith and Tim Robbins. Here, he is with Steve Zahn, and he holds his own throughout the film. He is so great in this movie. He looks so full of rage and hatred throughout the movie. He is perfect for the role. I really like him as an actor. He was great in both Joy Ride and Riding in Cars With Boys. He adds another good performance to his list here.

This film has good action, but even better comedy. It really is a funny film, and I recommend seeing it.
