Review:

Tim: This film is packed with action, which is good, because it saves it from the flat acting, and a weak plot. If you are a fan of Musketeer films, you might want to consider this, but if you are looking for the best, I recommend other films such as The Man in the Iron Mask.

I really like Justin Chambers in this film, although he isn't really convincing as a Frenchman. He brings to D'Artagan a level of arrogance, which is both well deserving and funny. He has some of the best lines in the film, and of course, is the center for the most extraordinary action scenes.

It is the action that makes this film worth seeing. In The Musketeer, you will see some of the most amazing acrobatic fight scenes in any movie ever. The climactic end scene on the ladders will visually blow you away. While you watch it, you will be thinking to yourself, "Yeah right, that is impossible," but you won't care, because they are incredible to watch. This film is worth it just to see D'Artagnan defy gravity and conventional fight scenes.

Fans of musketeer films will enjoy the brilliant action scenes, but will be disappointed with the average acting and slow plot in which not a whole lot happens. It's not a bad film, though- trust me, you can do much worse.
