Review:

Tim: I had high hopes for this movie since I loved the first one, and I wasn't disappointed. This film has much more action, adventure, and comedy. Fraiser and Weisz are very good as well. I was very disappointed with the Rock in this film. His portrayl of the Scorpion King lasted for a minute in the beginning of the film and about three at the end. I think the only line he had in the movie was one in Egyptian, so you had no idea what he said. However, the movie as a whole is very, very good.

Many people might not agree with me, but I thought the first movie was better than this one. While the sequel updated the action and increased the overall effect, the first hour of this movie was quite slow with minimal action. The film did pick up for the last hour, but the damage was done.

This film may not be as good as the first, but it isn't bad at all. This film is excellent, but compared to the first, just a little worse.
