Review:

Tim: Ugh, another stupid movie starring Billy Bob Thornton as a hardass scumbag. I suppose Bad Santa, Bad News Bears, and School for Scoundrels weren't enough. Worst still, this movie manages to sink Susan Sarandon and Seann William Scott (he really needs to pick better roles) down with him. I did not find this movie funny at all.

The film's one big humorous gimmick is putting Thornton in a gym with a bunch of kids, and letting him say the meanest things to them and throw dodgeballs at them. This is supposed to keep us entertained.

Billy Bob Thornton is good in the role, but only because he's played similar roles multiple times before. Susan Sarandon is decent, but not great by any means. Seann William Scott is enjoyable. I really like him, even if he picks terrible, terrible films to be star in.

Mr. Woodcock doesn't have much to offer. The film is silly, not funny. The film also suffers from being far, far too predictable. There are so many better and funnier movies out there. I really can't recommend this one at all.
