Review:

Tim: This is a hilarious, classic film that any purported "movie fan" MUST see. It has been called one of the funniest movies of all time, and that is not an exaggeration. This is one funny film. Now, some of the humor is more British, so American audiences might not find every joke funny, but the majority of it is.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, even decades after its release, still remains one of the best comedies of all time. It is filled with so many hilarious and memorable lines. Who could ever forget, "Its only a flesh wound," or "I fart in your general direction!" and of course, "Bring us.... a shrubbery." You have the knights who say "Ni!", a killer rabbit, and a film completely mocking the Arthurian legend. That takes guts to do, and if done poorly could border on sacrilegious. The Python troop spoofs the legend brilliantly, however.

This is one of those films that you need to see simply because it is so culturally significant (not to mention incredibly entertaining). There are certain films that are simply required viewing. And, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one such film.

I want to quickly make mention that the end of the film is by far its weakest part. It ends abruptly and unsatisfactory. However, don't dwell on this, because up to that point, the movie is a riot. You will enjoy this film.
