Review:

Tim: This is a silly, stupid romantic comedy that saves face because it is surprisingly well though out. I am assuming that the movie is based off the song (honestly, I don't care enough to look it up), and that is never a good place to go for source material.

There isn't a great deal of substance here. It is pretty shallow, which doesn't stop it from being fun (it does stop it from being very good, however). The film isn't extremely boring or poorly shot, but it just feels mediocre from start to finish.

Sandra Bullock is fairly good. She makes the transition from unattractive to beautiful in shocking fashion. The rest of the cast is decent, but no one really stands out. This film might have been better if it had a better supporting cast.

I wouldn't highly recommend this film, but it won't be a complete waste fo time, either. It exists in that foggy area between good and bad, which so often results in purely forgettable.
