Review:
Tim: This is not a good film. I am a big fan of the Satan-summoning genre of movies- they are interesting to watch and exciting. I had high hopes for this one, but was let down hard. Ryder and Chaplin both give mediocre performances, neither which I will give credit to, nor ever want to mention again.
The film does have an interesting look to it, which you will see as soon as you begin viewing the film. However, the plot is slow and boring and the film drags on. I guess I am very upset because this film had so much potential and could have been so great, but the end result is anything but.
The best part of the film are the two exorcisms (which last a total of like, two minutes- don't get excited). They are both chilling and a bit terrifying. Unfortunately, the rest of the film was simply mediocre and not worth seeing. I very much do not recommend seeing this film, and I for one will never ever sit through this movie again. It might be unfair to give such a harsh review, because this movie isn't incredibly horrible, it just isn't very good.
