Summary: Mary (Mischa Barton) arrives at an all-girls' school and immediately is taken in by her roommates, Paulie (Piper Perabo) and Tory (Jessica Pare). Mary soon discovers her roommates are lovers. Everything goes fine until Paulie and Tory are discovered, and Tory rejects Paulie, and starts dating guys. This is too much for Paulie to handle, and she tries everything to win back her love. Based on the novel, "The Wives of Bath" by Susan Swan.

Review:

Tim: This is definitely not your typical movie. It puts an interesting spin on your average coming-of-age film. The actors all play their parts very well, and you never really question their authenticity. This film really shows the pain and anguish teen lesbians go through on a daily basis...yeah. That being said, I don't really know who to recommend this film to. I'm not entirely sure who the target demographic is for this film.

It was very, very hard for me to get emotionally attached to any of these characters. They just feel too underdeveloped. I wish we were able to get more insight into these characters. The performances are, like I said, good. Finally, I want to mention the truth behind obsessions over your first love... however, this film takes that obsession to a new level, seeming a but psychopathic at times. I'm not sure if something was lost in the translation from the book, but I'm really not a fan of this movie, and I don't ever want to be subjected to it again.

If You Enjoyed This Movie, We Recommend: any film with good acting and a messed-up plot, Coyote Ugly (not implying Coyote Ugly has a messed-up plot)
