Review:

Tim: If you know me, you'll know I am a huge Meg Ryan fan. I was really excited to see this movie, because it not only starred Ryan, but Hugh Jackman. Jackman has quickly taken over the Hollywood scene, making some really great films. I was excited to see Ryan and Jackman together. Even more, the film boasts a supporting cast of Liev Schreiber (one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood), and Breckin Meyer, whom I really like. The film's cast to me was perfect.

Kate & Leopold is a very funny movie. There is usually great chemistry between Ryan and Jackman, although there are some awkward moments. I really liked seeing these two big names on the screen at the same time.

Jackman is really good in this film. He continues his string of excellent films, which recently include X-Men, X-Men 2, Swordfish, etc. Jackman is quickly becoming a HUGE name in Hollywood, and the coming years will prove this. Ryan is excellent as well. She has made romantic comedies her forte. This is slightly different from her usual ones, though, so I'd recommend watching it (especially if you like her work as much as I do).

This film really features as a good story about old and new values. It really makes you long to live in Leopold's time, when life was slower and people had more integrity.
