Review:

Tim: I'll admit the only reason I watched this film was to see John Cusack. As you know, I am a huge fan of his work. However, I must say, I was sadly disappointed in this entire film. I had trouble writing the summary, because nothing really happens. Furthermore, it is depressing without trying to tell a decent story. Half of the film feels like there is absolutely no point to it. This was adapted from some novel, and I hope the book was better than this debacle.

I'll be nice, and say that there were good performances by the three stars. However, performances don't matter when the plot is so transparent and choppy. Oftentimes, I didn't know what was happening, or why it was. It wasn't a good film at all.

Finally, I'll say that most disappointing is that John Cusack gives a decent performance, but it's nothing spectacular, I assure you. If you really want to watch this film, be my guest, but if I never see it again, it'll be too soon.
