Review:
Tim: This is a very good sequel to the suprisingly hilarious original comedy. This time, the laughs keep coming, although a bit of the novelty has worn off. The formula is exactly the same, with only a few minor changes. It takes the typical sequel route.
The film intelligently revists its clash of civilization theme, once again joking about the humorous differences between Western civilization and the bushmen tribe.
Some of the film's changes hurt the viewer's experience. The storyline of the two kids accidentally taken away in the back of a truck is not as interesting or as funny as the Coke bottle. Much of this film pales in comparison to the original, but not by much.
I am not sure how many people have seen these two movies, but I am going to venture a guess of "not enough." They may be a bit hard to track down, but I strongly recommend doing so- they are fun, enjoyable movies.
With so many gross, disgusting comedies coming out of Hollywood these days, it is refreshing and relieving to see a comedy that uses intelligent and fun hijinks to make a humorous and clean film.
