Review:

Tim: Another Anthony Mann-James Stewart collaboration, another very good movie. These two accounted for some truly incredible films over the years, and this is another solid entry. As one of the first musical biopics, this film tells the story of Glenn Miller, a genuinely good guy who rises to the top of the music industry.

James Stewart and June Allyson made several films together, and they developed a genuine comfort level which can be seen on the screen. They are good together.

This is a solid motion picture that tells an emotional story about a fascinating human being. It has incredible music throughout, a cameo by Louis Armstrong, and a bit of tragedy thrown in. There's not a whole lot more you could ask.
