Review:
Tim: This should have been a lot worse, but there is a certain charm that the film has, allowing us to enjoy it. Yes, it is silly and stupid, but there is something interesting about Marlon Brando spoofing the character that made him so famous. He isn't taking any of this very seriously, and that allows us in the audience to derive some enjoyment as well.

Brando is good, but he is a far cry from his best performances. This ranks somewhere in the lower middle of his career performances. He does interact very well with Matthew Broderick. Broderick brings a great deal of energy to the role, and is occasionally quite funny. These two men interact quite well together. Penelope Ann Miller is decent, but she doesn't do a great job. The supporting cast is fairly decent.

This is a film that manages to be somewhat entertaining, and far better than it probably had reason to be. You might find it enjoyable, but don't expect much.
