Summary: After a gang of thieves successfully pull off a robbery, two of the thieves (Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline) turn on the third, and he is put in prison. However, before going to prison, he hides the loot. Now, a dash for the loot occurs, including the seduction of a barrister (John Cleese) to try to get him to discover the hiding place of the stolen goods.

Review:
Tim: This is actually a very, very funny movie. John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Kevin Kline all give hilarious performances. This is a film with a good plot, yet benefits the most from the acting performances of its stars.

A Fish Called Wanda is funny in a very British, clever type of way. Its not a traditional comedy, but will make you laugh regardless. The best part of the movie is the interaction between Curtis and Kline. They are remarkable together. Kline himself is unbelievable, as is the proof because of his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. He seriously has some amazingly funny scenes. Watch for the one where he eats the fish- it is great.

Ultimately, the film does tend to drag on and I was not too impressed with John Cleese's performance, although others hold it in the highest regard. The movie can tend to be a bit draining, although its worth it to sit through the entire film. I would recommend watching A Fish Called Wanda if for no other reason, than to see the Academy Award winning performance of Kevin Kline.
