Review:
Tim: If you read the summary, you're probably thinking, "Well this movie sounds downright stupid. Indeed: this has to be one of the stupidest movies on the face of the earth. The plot is so ridiculous, it is incredibly unbelievable, and has no redeeming quality whatsoever. Unfortunately, it is also overwhelmingly hilarious and enjoyable to watch. I would have loved to tear this movie apart for being idiotic and moronic, but I can’t. While it is true the film is stupid beyond all words, the humor is just so good that nothing else matters.
If you enjoyed movies like Dumb and Dumber, the Bill & Ted movies, or movies like that, then you have to see this film, because it takes the cake when it comes to those types of films.
The humor in this movie is quite memorable. The Chinese food lady and her, “And then?” line is simply hilarious, and I died laughing. That is what comedy is all about, and I laughed loudly. Even more, the entire, "Dude, where's my car?" "Where's your car, dude?" "Dude, where's my car?" "Where's your car, dude?" thing is so damn funny. And of course, the tattoo scene is more of that idiotic and moronic, but hilarious comedy.
I don’t recommend this movie to adults with high intelligence, but teenagers and those with low intelligence will find this movie irresistible (I count myself among those with low IQ). This film is worth seeing not only once, but several times, as you will laugh hysterically every time you see it. Dude, Where’s My Car? Is the type of movie that is truly funny after you’ve seen in nine times. I recommend if you don’t like it through your first time, that you bite down and watch it again. I am certain you will like it much better the second time through. This is definitely a film that effects you best after you’ve watched it several times. The best way to approach this film is to believe you will be watching a film with no reedeming qualities whatsoever. If you can accept that, then sit back, prepare to get a little bit stupider for having sit through the film, and laugh your ass off.
