Summary: This sequel has detective John MClane (Bruce Willis) once again in the wrong place at the wrong time. While he waits for his wife's plane to land at a Washington, D.C. airport, he begins to realize something is wrong. McClane stumbles onto the plot of a group of terrorists (led by William Sadler) who have taken over the airport in order to rescue a drug lord from going to jail. John McClane must now battle not only the terrorists, but an incompetant airport police chief (Dennis Franz), a stubborn anti-terrorist unti, and much more. McClane must stop the terrorists soon, or his wife's plane will run out of fuel and crash!

Review:

Tim: Die Hard 2 features many new and exciting action sequences, but seems to recycle a little too much from the original. The first Die Hard is better than this one, a little more inventive and the dialogue is better. Die Hard 2 isn't a bad movie- it does have some incredible action scenes and Bruce Willis is his hard, gruff best.

Compared to the other two Die Hard films, this is the worst in the series. Die Hard 2 does have many good qualities, but the plot is choppy, the dialogue simply isn't up to par with the other two Die Hard films. Besides Bruce Willis, the other actors add little to the film, save for occasional bright moments of acting. Bonnie Bedelia brought nothing to the film, and frankly was a waste of time having her in the scenes she was in.

All in all, I only recommend this film if you love Bruce Willis, Die Hard, or are an action buff. Otherwise, this film isn't horrible, but if you see only one Die Hard film in your life, don't make this one it.
