Review:

Tim: This is Tom Cruise's first turn as a bad guy, and he picked one heck of a movie to do it. Michael Mann directs a tight, twisting, and nerve-racking film. He keeps us on the edge of our seats from start to finish.

Cruise is incredible. I almost like him more as a bad guy than a good guy. He is easily one of the coolest bad guys of the last five years (perhaps only Denzel Washington in Training Day besting him). Cruise's gray hair is a stroke of genius, and transforms him into a character we can believe is a villain.

Jamie Foxx is constantly proving that he is an actor we won't soon forget. He gives a powerful performance. Surprisingly, he more than holds his own against Cruise. These two actors face off head-to-head and the result is quite memorable.

Michael Mann creates an amazing film here. Even the look and the feel of the movie is crisp and sharp. This is an intelligent thriller that will get your heart rate increasing. Collateral is one of the those stylish thrillers that you just have so much fun watching.
