Review:

Tim: I found this movie profoundly powerful. The movie tells the story a newspaper reporter determined to prove the innocence of a man society claims is a killer. This is a fairly simple story, and not a moment of the movie is wasted or strays from this plot. The movie tells this tale extremely well, is very well paced, and results in a subtly excellent film.

James Stewart gives an edgy, understated but brilliant performance. He exudes emotion better than just about anyone, and is in top form here. He's just so likeable, which makes his driven, passionate quest all the more exciting.

Call Northside 777 is a very good movie. It is exciting, thrilling, and will keep you in suspense until the very end. I am a big fan of this film, and if you enjoy James Stewart or this type of film, you'll be one, too.
