Review:
Tim: I really, really like Audrey Hepburn, so I was excited about seeing her in this film. She is amazing, which I will discuss later. However, I was shocked to discover she didn't give the best performance of the film. George Peppard is absolutely wonderful in his role. He has to play off Hepburn and does so tremendously. I've always liked Peppard, going back to his Banachek days. I was so impressed with him in this movie.
Now, this is not intended to take anything away from Hepburn. She is truly incredible. She has to play such a quick, eccentric, and loveable character and does it better than anyone else could. She deserves to have you see this film.
While this movie is great, I'm still a little surprised that this film is as beloved as it is. I thought Hepburn's Roman Holiday was better, yet you don't hear the adoration from fans about that one, as compared to this one.
Breakfast at Tiffany's is a classic romantic film. It is fast paced, funny, and has a number of unexpected events and plot twists that ensure you'll experience a lively time as you follow our two protagonists as they live their lives and always growing closer to realizing the love they have for each other.
