Review:

Tim: Before you say or think anything, let me remind you that this is an action film. That is what you should expect and you will like it a whole lot better. This probably needless sequel is actually full of great action. It has some of the most exciting car chases and crashes I have ever seen.

Bad Boys II really tries hard to blend together both action and comedy. The comedic attempts can actually get a bit crude at time. This film definitely earned its R rating. Michael Bay is much better bringing action to the screen than comedy and Smith and Lawrence, though both funny, have difficulty bringing much humor into this movie. The action is worth seeing, though.

Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay have to be one of the greatest teams in Hollywood. They are always out to make exciting actions films. Some of their past work, like Armageddon is truly good filmmaking. While this is not one of their better films, it is still a decent action film.

In many ways this is a fitting sequel to the original. It does what it sets out to do. The film will entertain you for over two hours (a bit long, however) and give you enough shares of laughs and explosions to keep you interested. It doesn't offer too much in the realm of spectacular, but you probably won't be bored with it, either. If you saw the first one, you might as well pick this one up, too.
