Review:

Tim: I found American Wedding to be equally as good as the first two films. That is a pretty amazing feat and I feel I may be one of the few people to make this claim. Yes, it's true there is no need for this film and half the original cast is missing (including Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, and Shannon Elizabeth). However, not for one second did I miss any of these characters. In many ways, it is better for the film to focus on only the remaining characters.

The #1 reason I found this movie is enjoyable is Stifler. Seann William Scott is unbelievably hilarious. This film offers him the chance to show off this character and come into his own in the series. Sure, he is foul mouthed and vulgar, but that is what is so great about his character. Scott plays him brilliantly as always.

Most of the laughs in American Wedding, like the first two films come pretty cheap. Perhaps more so in this film, the laughs aren't elaborate or requiring much thought to enjoy. For example, the dog crap scene- this is a cheap laugh, but by far one of the funniest moments I've ever seen. I don't care if the laughs come cheap, as long as they keep coming.

This is a fitting and proper end to the American Pie series. I enjoyed this movie and I hope and pray that they are not foolish to make another film, because I will not be able to handle it.
